November 2020, HB Instruments starts manufacturing and selling the biomolecule interaction measurement instrument b-portable. The instrument enables for example protein-protein interaction studies. This is made possible by integrating the SCORE technology. SCORE (single color reflectometry) is a physical method based on interference of monochromatic light at thin films. The obtained binding curves using SCORE provide detailed information on kinetics of the observed interactions as well as on concentrations of the used analytes.
